Terms & Conditions for Individual Donors

  1. For the Purposes of this Campaign, any individual signs up / registers to donate medicines on its website (http://www.medsformore.org) or through its representatives, shall be defined as a “Donor” for the limited purpose of donating medicines through this Citizens Volunteering initiative.
  2. This is to certify that said Donor is donating medicines out of their own free will for the purpose of being distributed to individuals in pre-defined communities through its partner Non-Profit Organisations (“NGO”).
  3. Donor agrees that he is donating only those medicines bought by or given to them or their family members through their personal prescription by an MBBS doctor.
  4. Donor agrees that he/she are only donating unused and leftover medication from their own or a family members’ personal prescription and have not purchased the same for the purpose of donating to the MedsForMore (“MFM”)
  5. The Donor shall either drop off the said medicines intended for donations at a collection box in their own building/area, if applicable, or at the nearest collection point or use one of MFM’s transport / logistics partner/s (“LP”) as mentioned on the website.
  6. In the event, the Donor choses to use MFM’s LP they shall only hand over these medicines to the agent of the LP in a sealed package.
  7. Donor agrees that MFM is only facilitating the collection of medicines. The segregation and distribution of the same will be through various volunteering partners.
  8. Donor acknowledges that all medicines collected through the MFM campaign are meant to be donated to identified, authorised NGO who will in turn distribute the same to rural or tribal communities in India free of cost.
  9. That Donor agrees that there are no tax benefits being made available to the Donor on the cost of the medicines donated.
  10. The Donor agrees that they will not ask MFM, nor MFM will entertain any requests to provide any details of the final recipients of the said medicines.
  11. The Donor agrees that they are making this donation out of its own free will and not under any coercing or on offer of consideration or in exchange for anything in kind or monetary terms.

Terms & Conditions for MFM Ambassador

  1. For the Purposes of this Campaign, any individual signs up / registers to on its website (http://www.medsformore.org) or through its representatives to act as a Building Representative / Area Collector (hereinafter referred to as “Ambassador”which expression shall wherever the context so requires mean and include its agents, nominees, employees,  and assigns) for the limited purpose of collecting donated medicines through this Citizens Volunteering initiative.
  2. That Ambassador has agreed of their own free will and without promise of any monetary consideration or any other benefit of any kind, to volunteer for MFM to collect the donations of medicines for the purpose mentioned herein above.
  3. That Ambassador shall, with the necessary permission of the said society as per the by-laws of the said society, set up and place donations box(es) at a designated location in the building/society premises for residents to donate medicines bought by or given to them or their family members through their personal prescription by an MBBS doctor.
  4. MFM shall require the Ambassador to produce copies of such permission on the society letterheads duly signed by the concerned authority of the said society as per the by-laws of the said society.
  5. Ambassador shall at all times before accepting such donation of medicines from the residents make them aware of the terms and conditions for the donors.
  6. At no point Ambassador shall represent to anyone that they have the authority to collect any monetary donations, nor shall they carry out any such collection of monetary donations on behalf of MFM or any of its partners / volunteers unless MFM decides to run a fundraise campaign and specifically authorises Ambassador in writing for the same.
  7. The Ambassador shall on a pre-defined day of the week, facilitate transport of the collected donations to the pre-defined location of MFM or its Partner Non-Profit Organisations (“NGO”)in a sealed packaged by either dropping it off to a MFM Collection Centre or sending it through the designated Logistics Partner (“LP”) of MFM.
  8. Ambassador shall not at any point distribute the said donated medicines to anyone.
  9. Ambassador shall not at any point sell the said donated medicines to anyone.
  10. Ambassador acknowledges that it is aware that the MFM is merely a facilitator and is working with authorised volunteering partners that have the requisite expertise or have employees / volunteers who have the expertise to segregate, prescribe and distribute the said medicines to the people of tribal & underprivileged communities free of cost.
  11. In the event LP is dropping off medicines to the Ambassador ’s donation box, the same shall be accepted in a sealed condition only and shall remained sealed while being transported to MFM or NGOs and the same shall only be opened by either of the two described herein,
  12. The Security of the Donation boxes shall be the responsibility of the Ambassador and they shall ensure the safety of the donations before they are transported to MFM or NGO.
  13. The Donor agrees that MFM will be storing contact information of the Donors for registration   purposes and as such will share such data only with the MFM team to facilitate efficient collections and volunteer related activities and/or with regulatory authorities if required under any laws (Central, State or Local) in force at the relevant time.
